What a crazy year 2023 has been. Already. I've had yet another set back already (another death in the family; 3 now in the span of a year), but I've also made changes to help my physical and mental health. That said, it's still difficult at times to keep myself motivated and productive! I'm hoping if I write out my art goals for the year, I'll be more likely to achieve them.
First, I want to post much more often. I plan to post art at least once or twice a week. Second, I want to achieve a better balance between fan art, commissions, and personal projects. I've been lucky to have consistent art commissions so far, though I'd like to complete commissions much quicker from now on. And finally, I intend to finally begin releasing my comic. It's been in my brain for years and I won't NOT be garbage at it until I simply start.
Of course there's also my goal of interacting more, doing more with videos and streaming, and overall improving my art skills, but I consider those constant goals that should have no end. I want to always see room for improvement.
If you read all of this, thank you. I hope this will help me keep myself accountable. Feel free to beat me over the head with this post if you see me slipping.
